Merry Marinello gives a stellar interview and description of the Founder of All about Learning Press Marie Rippel, who had a child with severe dyslexia. They were told he would never read or write. She researched, figured out how to teach her son and also tutored kids for 20 years. She doesn’t want anyone to have to go through what they did. Merry also talks about the powerful results that this program has accomplished and Merry has a great personal testimony as well!

- Many people think it needs to look like “school at home” and don’t realize how much freedom there is to teach to your child’s needs and interests, and to work at your child’s pace rather than trying to follow “grade levels.”
- All About Reading often succeeds where other programs fail. An example was a woman named Raquel had a daughter Katie who was struggling with learning to read. Her local school that was specifically created for children with dyslexia thought Katie's situation was hopeless and wouldn’t admit her because they didn’t think they could help her! Raquel was determined to help her and believed she was creative and capable. She found All About Reading and All About Spelling and her daughter was successful!
- The founder, Marie Rippel, have a child with severe dyslexia (he is grown now). Marie and her husband were told he would never read or write. Marie researched, figured out how to teach her son and also tutored kids for 20 years after. She created All About Reading Press because Marie to this day doesn’t want anyone to have to go through what they did!

Sam Sorbo is an Education Freedom Advocate. She is an author, writer, podcast host of the Sam Sorbo show. She is also an actor and producer and is known for Miracle in East Texas (2019), Andromeda (2000) and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). She has been married to Kevin Sorbo since January 5, 1998 and they have three beautiful children.

- One foundational lesson we learn in the traditional school system is how incapable we are. One paradigm no child left behind was to support a child's learning but it has become the means by which we push children through a system unprepared for each following level which results in a child misunderstanding their own abilities.
- Homeschooling is not about the 3R's Reading, Writing and Arithmetic (which by the way are not three r's). The beauty of homeschooling is that it is a joint project between parent and child, it is not just the parent as teacher or all about the student but a powerful collaboration which completely obliterates the paradigm the traditional education system puts out of they are the supreme authority.
- Parents you are raising an adult, and there has been a theft of your children and we have given them over to a system that is exploiting the fact that children are easily influenced by what they see and hear because they are just starting to form an identity in relation to what is around them, and the government and schools understand that and will shame you from becoming that influence so that they can step in and further make you feel incapable.

The MLLC was founded by Kristine Dizon who wanted to combine her passions for language and music to share with students all over the world. The Music and Language Center provides high-quality, interactive, online music and language instruction to learners everywhere. Their mission is to provide the highest quality and level of language & music instruction for all levels. The Music & Language Center wants to accommodate all students from all backgrounds.
Kristine Dizon (born 1988) is an international artist and teacher who has performed in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. A passionate music educator, she has taught clarinet masterclasses in Armenia, Cyprus, Thailand, Perú, and Poland. Kristine has been a part of several socio-cultural and educational projects that include the Philharmonie de Paris-Project DEMOS, Conservatoire de Montargis (Orchestre á l'école) and the Minnesota Project Opera.
She has premiered works by Agnieszka Zdrojek-Suchodolska, Nicolas Bacri, Kryštof Maratka, and Reinaldo Moya. In 2017, she guest taught at the VI Taller para Jóvenes Clarinetistas organized by Clariperu, served as part of the international jury for the V Concurso de Bandas Escolares 2016 where she held a residency with PeruBandas and taught clarinet masterclasses in Cusco and Lima, Peru.

She graduated in 2005 from Dixie State University with a degree in teaching. After graduating, she spent time traveling the world and seeking adventure. Dr. Melanie Wilson is a Christian psychologist who became a homeschooler and is a mother of six. Two of her sons are now attending college, leaving her with children ranging from a 5th-grader through a high school junior that she is still homeschooling. She credits God and her husband of 24 years for the time to write, speak, and homeschool too. While she doesn’t practice anymore, she does share sanity-saving ideas at her blog, PsychoWith6.com.
Melanie is the author of So You’re Not Wonder Woman, detailing the failure of psychology to change her own life; The Organized Homeschool Life: A Week-By-Week Guide to Homeschool Sanity; and Grammar Galaxy: Adventures in Language Arts, an elementary language arts curriculum.
She also hosts a podcast for homeschoolers, The Homeschool Sanity Show, and regularly broadcasts on Periscope and Facebook. She enjoys leading the Facebook group, HomeschoolScopes, for homeschoolers who enjoy live broadcasts.
Melanie is passionate about encouraging mothers in their homeschooling, family life, and faith. She loves scrapbooking and tennis, and has discovered a new hobby in Bible journaling.
