Intro
Author of More Before Five in Row, Carrie Lambert Bozeman is the daughter of Author Jane Claire Lambert of Five in a Row, and sister of Author Becky Jane Lambert of Beyond Five in a Row, and a granddaughter of a former teacher who taught first grade for more than 30 years, and with a great-grandmother who owned a private preschool, perhaps it was inevitable that Carrie Lambert Bozeman would end up as an educator too.
Carrie was homeschooled K-11 before attending college, and she began homeschooling her own children in 2012. She has been a part of Five in a Row since it began in 1995 and has helped write single unit studies for Five in a Row in recent years. These experiences have provided a foundation that is evident in the lessons and heart of More Before Five in a Row.

Author Lynn Dean wrote Discover Texas Online because she hated history! She remembers only how bored she was and nothing else! Her husband loved History and felt terrible that she hated it so much and one day asked her a question that would change her perspective forever! Was there nothing that you liked about History? Then she remembered one teacher bringing in a coffee washed stained sheet and the hand painting she did in 3rd grade! That's when she realized learning history can be fun if you could experience it; and so Discovertexasonline.com is born!

- When learning history or any subject you can make it multicurricular by finding the different subject tucked in History.
- That during the Spanish Inquisition there was a surname that came into existence in the US and only exists in the US and it is the surname Hidalgo; which is a mash up of three words Hijo de algo; and this came to be because during the inquisition Spain was stripping people of everything they had and those who wanted to leave a legacy came over the US so they could have land etc. Since last names usually came from where you lived or some type of inheritance when they came to the US Hijo de algo means son of something thus we got Hidalgo!

Willow Chenoah Founder of Fields of Daisies, after "finishing" homeschooling her 3 children, she found myself still constantly thinking of fun ideas and topics that she wanted to teach. Our family had homeschooled in many circumstances and different parts of the world, so she also wanted to share the things she'd learned along the way. She wanted to encourage families who might be facing a financial crisis, or living overseas with limited resources, or families with multiple aged kids struggling to teach them all at once, that they could succeed and even ENJOY homeschooling in those seasons. So she created a free online based History curriculum, as well as free complete History/Literature based Unit Studies, that can be done from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection.
She have three amazing children that have taught me more about living, loving, learning, and knowing God than anything else she can think of. They have homeschooled in small towns and big cities, in foreign countries and in our rural home town, inside and outside, on buses, in cars, and on planes, in times of plenty and in lean times too. They have been homeschooling for more than 20 years. it’s been the best of times and the worst of times and she wouldn’t trade one minute of it for anything!
