Intro
Melanie Moyer Co-Founder of Moving Tale: A Yoga Storytelling Adventure along with her sister who is also Co-founder Kathe Hudson. These two sisters former librarians had created many programs for kids; from puppet shows, to puppet show workshops where the kids would learn how to do everything from making the backdrops to performing in the puppet shows themselves.
They realized that a large percentage of the kids that came to these programs were homeschooled. Homeschoolers are big utilizers of the library. And as librarians they were happy to help them with resources to enhance their homeschool curriculum.
As yoga instructors they thought it would be fun to Make the story come alive. They began writing their own stories and incorporate a few words from the region they were focusing on to give kids a small taste of a foreign language. And thus A YOGA STORYTELLING ADVENTURE was born!

Elmarie Hyman, Elmarie is the founder of Learn Beyond The Book, a Homeschool & hybrid school interactive, full with small-group classes where you get to pick what, where, and how your child wants to learn!
These Alternative education resources support self-directed learning and can be customized for each child nationally & internationally. The classes are held via interactive Zoom courses with live teachers as well as in-person in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley.

Mary has a passion for traveling, she and her family have visited more than forty-five National Parks, exploring and photographing each one. It was because of these adventures that she got the inspiration to write a series for children keeping the facts but adding fun mysterious adventures, hoping to create in them a desire to explore the parks for themselves. Jessica Silverman, Ph.D. Co-Founder of Phenomena. Phenomena is a new destination for experiential learning that lets kids learn STEM concepts through play. Jessica and Jared cofounders believe that this visual, interactive medium is the most effective way to teach dynamic STEM concepts and relationships because it engages students in constructing their own mental models just like real STEM professionals.
Phenomena was developed to help every child understand that STEM concepts are within their reach and fun to learn. Anne Marie Flood is the CEO of Play and Thrive Speech Therapy. Anne was a Spanish teacher for 5 years but found her passion in Speech Language Pathology. She founded Play & Thrive Speech Therapy in January 2022 in the hopes of offering families more flexibility and collaboration. She believes in partnering with families to help early learners improve their speech and language skills through play.
Play & Thrive Speech Therapy is a family-centered speech and language therapy practice, with a focus on supporting children’s needs through play. From helping pre-verbal toddlers with their first words to helping older elementary learners with inferencing and summarizing, all children learn best when they feel connected and engaged. Anne has worked with children and their families, all across the US.
She currently lives in Arnold MD with her husband. When not in the clinic, she can be found homeschooling her two older kids or running with the youngest in the stroller.
