Tell me already the suspense is killing me! Anticipatory Sets Part 2

There are different types of learners and what works with one child may not work with another. Learning a bit about how the learning styles play into how you will introduce the lesson matters! You want to grab them right form the start!! 

In this episode I discuss the different learning style and how you can create anticipatory sets that are targeted for you beautiful child or children. 

Kinesthetic 

• Have your students moving  
• Acting 
• Different Manipulatives 

Auditory 

• listen to a song 
• you can write a rap and rap it to them 
• you can incorporate a suspenseful Intro 

Visual 

• Short video or movie clips 
• Pictures or Picture collage 
• Art 
• Picture Book 

Emotional  

• Fact vs Opinion  
• Debate 
• Thought provoking questions 

Relevance  

• watch a commercial 
• Student interest 
• Create questions with students
