Intro
Merry Marinello gives a stellar interview and description of the Founder of All about Learning Press Marie Rippel, who had a child with severe dyslexia. They were told he would never read or write. She researched, figured out how to teach her son and also tutored kids for 20 years. She doesn’t want anyone to have to go through what they did. Merry also talks about the powerful results that this program has accomplished and Merry has a great personal testimony as well!

- Many people think it needs to look like “school at home” and don’t realize how much freedom there is to teach to your child’s needs and interests, and to work at your child’s pace rather than trying to follow “grade levels.”
- All About Reading often succeeds where other programs fail. An example was a woman named Raquel had a daughter Katie who was struggling with learning to read. Her local school that was specifically created for children with dyslexia thought Katie's situation was hopeless and wouldn’t admit her because they didn’t think they could help her! Raquel was determined to help her and believed she was creative and capable. She found All About Reading and All About Spelling and her daughter was successful!
- The founder, Marie Rippel, have a child with severe dyslexia (he is grown now). Marie and her husband were told he would never read or write. Marie researched, figured out how to teach her son and also tutored kids for 20 years after. She created All About Reading Press because Marie to this day doesn’t want anyone to have to go through what they did!
